The benefits of vegetables cannot be neglected. Vegetables are those parts of plant which we can eat and we make part of our diet. Each vegetable has its own importance as it has unique properties. Vegetables contains all the basic nutrients of our food i.e vitamins, carbohydrates, water, fats, minerals and other co factors which not only build up our body but also repair and maintain our health. Besides these, vegetables also help in nourishment of our skin, cleanse the system and protect us from various toxic substances.

Studies have found that the flavonoid compound is present in carrots which protect us from lung, skin and oral cancers. These are also rich in alkaline elements. This element purifies and revitalizes the blood. Carrots a daily life use vegetable also has potassium which helps to balance the high levels of sodium associated with hypertension. It also keeps the blood pressure under control. Juice of carrot is also called “miracle juice”
Carrot can be used in many ways like as in salads, cooked and boiled form. Also be used in the form on soup and juice. Cucumber is commonly called “Khera” here in Pakistan. Cucumber has white succulent flash and dark green peel.
